The Nurture Fund was initiated in 2021 as a community project to provide mentoring to children from marginalized families. The founder and Executive Director of Mentoring SG (www.mentoring.sg) saw that while Singapore was doing much to support its youth through mentoring, the supply of mentors out of SIngapore can give much more, to youth around the region, by being a listen year, helping youth self-discover more, achieve their purpose and have opportunities to build their own future. Mentors are also gateways to opportunities within the region, by the very network they possess. Singapore is blessed to be in a position that connects knowledge and skills to livelihood building, and thus, the Nurture Fund seeks to connect opportunities to those who do not usually have them.
